Update

March had been super hectic for us. After much prayer, we left Auckland for New Plymouth.

Both of us found work so we had 4 weeks before we start our new work in the new place. Almost every March evening was spent packing, or tidying up the house.


I have decided to start a new blog to chronicle our life in New Plymouth. 

Rockets from the garden

Here's my harvest. Rockets are easy to plant but needs lots of watering.

It took overnight for the seed to germinate.

It took about 2 weeks to harvest.

Rockets has a peppery taste especially right after harvesting.

Lessons learned: the seeds should be sowed successively instead of sowing all at once.

Making popsicles

Making Popsicles just seem to be the perfect activity in summer.

The boys' eyes lit up at the mention of Popsicles.

Abel and Rain

Abel: Mum, are you worried about your clothes? ( Referring to my clothes on the clothes line getting wet from the rain)

Me: Yes.

Abel: I like rain because it waters my plants(referring to his rockets)

Abel: No. You will cough if you play in the rain.
