I brought the boys to Maccas after kindy (don't usually do that) and let them have their 'Happy' Meal and play in the playground.
I was due to start contracting the next day. I was feeling ambivalent.

This is the 2nd birthday party Noel attended. K is N's classmates at CB kindy. It was held at My Gym and the theme was super heros.
As you can see, Noel went as Woody the cowboy.
It was good fun, the kids love the obstacle courses and all the games and interaction with Sam (I think that's his name) 

Rice sack race



 

 

 The very last playgroup that the brothers attended before I went back to work.
The boys were jumping in the rice sack with their balloons.

Pirates and Princess Party

Noel's kindy organised a princess and pirates party in summer.  I made a parrot for him as his accessory and got his pirate bandanna and he picked his own stripey shirts and black boots.

Homemade Fire Extinguisher

Noel asked me to draw fire extinguisher for him. Next he asked for his scissor. Then he cut it out. Voila, home made fire extinguisher for himself.. heheh.

Mr. Potato

 The brothers were exposed to Mr Potato via Toy Story.
Here, the teachers had set up a Mr Potato table and the brothers had such great time playing with  Mr Potato. It was really interesting watching them play. They knew where the hairpiece went and so on.

 

Phoenix's birthday

This is the first birthday party that Noel attended. P is his classmates at ECK.
P's mom had put in heaps of effort into organising the birthday.  He had a jumping castle, and also a professional clown .....

Stickleblocks or Bristleblocks...

Do you still remember playing with one of these blocks? I remember playing with these when I was a kid. They have got bristles and they came under several names here, one of them being stickleblocks.

Noel was playing with them one afternoon at kindy.. Abel too...

Diego's treehouse

I thought I will show you Diego's treehouse.  This is taken on one of the good days when Noel would set it up all nicely.  It's one of the most played toys in the house.every other day they would disassemble the treehouse and reassemble and set up all sorts of scene for the rescue..the treehouse makes a few annoying dialogues if you press on one of those buttons ..

I love that Noel's kindy teachers set up different stations to cultivate their interest in different subjects. Above were the underwater table.  The table was decorated with blue sequin and blue silky fabric so kids can explore different texture and they threw in all the underwater creatures for the kids to play with too..

Next, a sandbox with seashells. Coming from a town with no beaches, I've never seen seashells until I was quite old.

Here, Noel was busy at the playdough table.  The teacher had made fresh batch of playdough. And he was making ice cream and they used real equipments on kid-sized table.

The table was set close to their pretend kitchen.   If Noel's play kitchen at home is a home kitchen , this one is definitely a commercial/industrial sized kitchen :P it came with proper rangehood, and heaps of equipments.

Abel the painter...

Here Abel playing at BDK while I dropped Noel off.  He was painting from the various buckets.
These buckets are so cool, they are made of silicone and they can be folded and put into one's pocket.
Just fill up with water and paint away. The water just dries off and he thinks he's done some great paint job.

Fireman Noel to the rescue....

Quick, there's a fire. Fireman Noel and his crew were off to save the day...
